A. All Primal software comes with the facility to build a series of selected views and play them out in sequence. If your presentation involves a series of anatomical diagrams, this may be your easiest and quickest way to build a sequence from the contents of the programs.
The Slidebox function requires the CD-ROM to be present in your computer.
1. Create the slidebox presentation
Find the 3D model view or other image that you want.
Select Slidebox option from menu bar
Choose Add to slidebox – this will open a new slidebox and add the image
Repeat until you have all the images you want (you can minimuse the active slidebox while you are choosing and adding images).
2. Save your Slidebox presentation
Select Slidebox option from the menu bar
Choose Open Slidebox Editor
Choose Action
Then Save Slidebox from
Save the Slidebox in a folder on your hard drive using a unique name – it will be saves as a .sld file.
3. To Retrieve your saved Slidebox Presentation
You must have the relevant CD-ROM from which you have created your Slidebox presentation open.
Select Slidebox option from menu bar
Choose in Open Slidebox Editor
Choose Action
Then Load Slidebox
Retrieve the Slidebox presention from where you have saved it on your hard drive. This should open the Slideboc presentation exactly as you saved it.
The advantage of using the Slidebox is that you can run your selected images, then quickly swap to a live presentation off the CD-ROM itself or back to your hard drive. You can also create Slidebox selections very quickly.
Click on the Slidebox option in the Menu at the stop of the program window. For full explanation of the Slidebox functionality, please consult the Help menu on each program.
